I am going to share something with you all, I struggle with my weight. I know that exercise is very important to our overall health, but it is not the end all be all for weight management. Did you know that weight management is 75% proper diet and nutrition?
That is the struggle for many people who are trying to get achieve and remain at their optimal weight. This hurdle can apply to those of us who are trying to lose it and to those who are having trouble gaining weight also. When our body has the right nutrition with the least amount of inflammatory substances, we are able to reach and maintain proper weight much better. When we are feeling better about the way we are eating and our bodies can process foods correctly, we are then able to exercise more efficiently. So, when we eat good, we feel good, and we heal better.
Starting on the right path for healthier eating habits is one of the hardest steps in weight management but once we get the hang of it, the habits get easier just like the old ones were. The new foods become our cravings and we are making better choices for our daily lives as well as our future health. One change today, another tomorrow and the next day is all we need to focus on.
