Quick Exercise Tips for Weight Loss!

When it comes to weight loss, everyone thinks that the more you exercise the more the weight will come off.

The truth is that is how it will start but your nutrition is just as important, because what we put in is what we get out of our body.

These past couple of weeks, our newsletters have included shopping lists and ways to help with your nutrition, so now let’s talk about movement.

Whether you are just starting your weight loss journey or have been on it for a while, movement is necessary for all body functions. It is how we move blood through our veins, water to our vertebral discs, and lymph through our systems.

A good rule to follow is that at least 20-30 minutes a day is what everybody needs for regular system flow, but if you are looking to lose weight or build muscle you will need to work up to doing more.

This can include either more intense workouts for 30 minutes, or longer low intensity workouts to burn those calories and move the scale.

What you do depends on you level of health and what your goals are, but something we all need a little more of in our life is a good old walk, run, and cardio work.

This is a great way to start your journey to health as well as something to keep up with and slow down the hectic day to day stresses which cause us to hold on to weight.

So, whether you like to walk and stop to smell the roses or go all out and train like you are going to be in the Olympics, which I know some of you are, let’s get moving together to get healthy and be our best selves!
